According to the Office of Juvenile Justice, one child is abducted every 40 seconds!
Some of the stats behind child abductions in the US are breathtaking and others are less severe than most people think. More than 350,000 family abductions occur each year. That is more or less 1,000 per day. About 163,000 of these cases involve the concealment of a child, transporting out-of-state, or intent to keep the child endlessly.
It is our job to know and understand these statistics so you and your family don't become a part of them. As parents, we must be sure not to become victims of fear and end up projecting this fear onto our children.
A apparatus that can be used to help find missing children is License Plate Tagging. We and our affiliates write down car plates, the date and time, and where we saw the van. We enter them into our database and when a child is abducted, state troopers have yet another medium to help locate the child. This is available to you and is free to join! Isn't a child safety worth 20 minutes a day? Please join us.
